Jean Boyers
Jean Boyers is a third generation artist recognized for her artistic abilities at a young age.
That recognition led to her earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors from Michigan State University
in Art Education. She has successfully taught art to both children and adults. Jean participated in
shows in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana where she did on-the-spot portraits and obtained commissions.
After moving to Florida, Jean learned of miniature art and began painting miniatures in 1988. She has
achieved recognition in this area of art internationally and has earned over one hundred awards on her
miniatures including several Best in Shows. On her larger works Jean has accrued many awards as well.
She has completed over 500 portraits and is known for attaining a likeness. It is Jean's aim to portray
the beautry she sees around her with her art.
