Meet Our Artists
Artist of Note
Each quarter the Art League of the Ozarks will designate one of its artists to be given
the title, Artist of Note. This honor will be bestowed because of work done for the
League or for outstanding artistic achievement locally, nationally, or internationally. The
Artist of Note will have a portfolio of some of their artwork, their biography, and the reason
they were selected shown on the Art League's website.
Featured Artist
Each month at the business meeting a member artist will have one painting selected for
the honor of being a Featured Artist in one of the local businesses. The previous Featured
Artist will be moved to the next business in the program. No artist will be eligible for
selection if the artist has a painting active in the program. The Featured Artists and
businesses will be listed quarterly on the website.
Portfolio Artists
Member artists will be able to display a portfolio in the website for a reasonable
annual fee. The portfolio will have a short information paragraph about the artist's background
and four small images of the same artist's artwork. A viewer will be able to move their mouse
over any of the smaller images to see a larger version of the picture. The viewer will also be
able to click on a link to the artist's own website or may contact the artist through e-mail.
