Camille C. Boyers
Camille enjoys both drawing and painting and has received awards for both endeavors. For
painting she prefers the clear crisp colors of acrylics. She finds that she likes all drawing media
but most frequently uses pencil, colored pencils, and charcoal. Camille also like to design and create
jewelry and fiber arts. In 1990 she did her first miniature drawing for which she received a first place
award at its second show where it also sold. Camille continues to achieve recognition through awards and
sales for her miniature art in both international and regional art shows. There are many subjects
Camille likes to protray including people, trees, the sky, and birds. Camille reflects "I am
attracted to dynamic line, informal balance, and dramatic lighting which often adds an abstract element
to my art." Camille is a fourth generation artist and like her parents and sister, she is able to
obtain likenesses of people. She accepts commissions.
